The topic for discussion on who takes on more responsibilities for the child’s education, mother or father has been a subject of heated debate. While some believe that mothers are primarily responsible for the child’s education. I am here to argue in favour of the fathers from the following perspectives.

Pillar in the development of the child’s: Fathers plays an important role as pillar in the development of the child’s emotions well-being, often a times children look-up to their father to lay down set-rules and enforce then, they also look to their father to provide a feeling of security, both physical and emotional which is instrumental to conducive learning environment both at home and in school.

Knowledgeable: Father are well knowledgeable and are very much aware of the cutting-edge needs of the child, as research has shown that, when fathers are deeply involved in their children’s education. It has a positive impact on the children academic performance, reason been that the children sees their father in the light of a trainer, counselor, protector, provider, motivator, enforces, encourager, and disciplinarian. Greetings

Good day Mr. Chairman, imperial panels of judges, accurate time keeper, my follow debaters, my esteem viewers, ladies and gentlemen. My name is ………………………………………, from……………………………………………., and with me is…….…….………………., we are here to oppose the motion, which states that “Fathers take more responsibilities on the child’s education than mothers”

Indeed, as remarked by my opponent, the topic for debate is quite a heated subject for discussion. However, it is universally known, tested, researched and proofed that, mother is a child’s first experience of love and love, they said, covers a multitudes of sins. This is true especially in the world in which we lived today.

First teacher: Mothers has an undetectable bond with her children, she is the child’s first teacher, unlike many fathers, she is the sacrificial lamb, and she does her best to make her children happy including the father, by providing emotional support, which is crucial for the overall development of the child. They also help their children in developing positive self-image, self-esteem and self-confidence, which are essential ingredients for success in life.

Moral guidance: Mother plays a significant role in shaping their children values and moral; they teach their children to distinguish between right from wrong, as well as developing empathy, kindness and instilling a sense of responsibilities and accountabilities for later stages of lives.

Self-sacrificing: Mothers role in the child’s education is like to that of a; nurse, mentor, protector, guide, friend and a teacher. She doesn’t rest her onions until the right thing is done. She is a leader, who leads her children for excellent, she scarifies so much yet gets little in return, she only rejoices when her children and family are happy and she is hurt when her children are hurt.

My Esteem audience, I have no strike of doubt with these few points of mine you are strongly convinced and not confused on the motion, Mothers takes more responsibilities on the child’s education than fathers. Thank you for listening.
